In 2012, Rachel asked Joshua if he would make some metal art. They didn't know it at the time, but that was the humble start of an adventure that would open their eyes to new opportunities and set them on the path to Moschera Metal Shop.
While Joshua was working as a precision TIG welder at a local manufacturer by day, he came home and welded art and custom fabrications every evening. He logged countless hours, long days and worked through weekends and holidays. Rachel learned to help in the metal shop, picking up skills to assist. Together they formed Benji and the Bandit Welding and sold their creations at Emery's Blueberry Farm in New Egypt, NJ.
Word traveled quickly, as did the support of a local shoppers and business owners. Benji and the Bandit Welding grew into Moschera Metal Shop as more manufacturing orders came through.
Joshua and Rachel are now full time cofounders of Moschera Metal Shop. Precision welding, manufacturing work and repairs are now the main focus of the metal shop. Metal art is reserved for "spare time" which is extremely limited. That doesn't mean that Josh and Rachel will ever forget the countless metal art customers that have supported them over the years, or the source of income that allowed them grow Moschera Metal Shop organically. They will always look back at their humble beginnings with utmost gratitude.
